Barb Kirkmeyer for Governor: It’s Time
“Coloradans increasingly tell me our great state is no longer a good place to start or run a business or raise a family. Many seem to believe Colorado is destined for decline. I understand those feelings, but I disagree with their conclusion. Decline is a choice, not a fate. Bad decision-making by Colorado lawmakers got us into this mess. The good news? Good policy-making can turn things around and make Colorado better than ever.
It’s time!” – Senator Barb Kirkmeyer

IT'S TIME:
BARB'S COMMITMENT TO COLORADO
After eight years of single-party (and often far-left) control of our Legislature and Governor’s Office, it’s time for a fresh perspective. Barb has a proven record of perseverance: conservative accomplishments resulting from putting in the hard work of building coalitions across party lines. She will put that dedication and discipline to work for Colorado.
Make Colorado more affordable, by reducing runaway insurance and energy costs and lowering property taxes.
Make Colorado a great place to start and run a business, to generate new, high-paying jobs.
Rein in the size, scope, and cost of Colorado government.
Make Colorado safer by locking up dangerous criminals, cracking down on drug dealers, and ensuring convicts spend at least 85% of their sentence behind bars.
Promote academic excellence in our K-12 schools, by ensuring all Colorado kids are equipped to succeed and meet our rapidly changing workforce needs.
Fix Colorado’s crumbling highways and expand those needed to meet our growing needs.
